I'm founder and creative director of Yellow Dog Party, and you can find my work on vimeo, dribbble, and instagram. Or you can follow me on twitter @yellowdogparty. Sometimes you can buy some of my work on MVNICIPAL.
I share my studio with a pretty talented dude named Severo Ojea. While many people in our market view each other as competition, we view our peers as collaborators. And because of that, we get to do some awesome work.
I'm lucky to be in the situation I'm in, but I also worked to get to where I am. I try my best to help the community of artists I'm involved with, and I especially try to help out other people as much as I can. That's why I started Workbench to offer training and tools for creatives. You can never have enough fans or enough people to cheer for.
This site is my personal home on the web. My interests are varied, and we'll address whatever is on my mind here. That will definitely include topics on politics, art, design, motion, freedom, guns, music, etc. I'm pretty opinionated especially when it comes to the Constitution, freedoms, rights, and Libertarian ideals so if you take things personally, it's time to exit.
Most imagery you see on this site was shot by me unless noted otherwise—probably on a Canon 5DmkIII with a prime lens attached. The photo of me above was shot by Chase Sammarco. The site itself was originally hand coded on a MacBook Pro in TextWrangler but now I've switched to Atom. Articles/blog posts are written in Caret. And everything is uploaded with the awesome FTP program Transmit—you might've seen their logo ripped off elsewhere on the web. The responsive layout is from Trunks.js. Check it out. It's pretty spiffy. If you know me, you know I rarely use other people's code without modification, so this is a glowing recommendation. I'm using a custom PHP solution—that is incomplete but working—instead of Wordpress, though I do recommend WP for people who can't code for shit but can hack something together from a paid theme.
I guess that's about it.
